Music artist Jay Burna rose to fame largely due to versatile flows and creative ambitions.  Part writer, composer, and director, the South Florida rapper spends the majority of his time in the studio. “My music is a journey through life” says Jay Burna.  The talented rapper founded and operates Black Congress Music Group, the independent label behind his records.

Jay Burna has worked with artists such as Grammy winning producers Bigg D and Lambo, Jerry Wonda , RCA recording artist Kid Ink, R&B singer Sammie, Atlantic recording artist CurrenSy and more. Jay Burna – “Ready” was the most tweeted song on MTV. “Ready” also was featured on VH1 and more. Jay Burna’s hot new single “Mood” premiered on the front page of VIBE Magazine. Since then Jay Burna – “Mood” has charted as high as #119 on urban radio and the #19 indie song in the world – and still climbing! This marked a strong finish to an already stellar 2015 for Jay Burna which included being voted one of hip hop’s rising indie stars.

In 2016, Jay Burna dropped the “Trill Nights” mixtape; it was met with high praise and went gold on popular mixtape site, DatPiff. Next up Jay Burna hit us with the street anthem “Change the Game” produced by Honorable C Note. “Change The Game” took the internet by storm climbing to over 1 million streams on Spotify (and +1M on other outlets too) in just a few short weeks. Jay Burna was then named one of Florida’s top artists by VIBE magazine and one of VEVO’s New Rising Hip Hop Artists. Jay Burna’s next single was 2017’s “Melrose” produced by Grammy nominated producer Unkle Steve. “Melrose” was named after Jay Burna’s childhood neighborhood in Broward County, FL — needless to say the record quickly reached street fame.
